Privacy Policy

Last updated: 8 July 2026

Latent is a film-camera app. This policy explains what data the app handles. It is a good-faith draft for review and hosting, not legal advice.

The short version

Latent stores your photos and app data on your device. We do not run servers, we do not have accounts, and we do not collect, sell, or share your personal data. We use no analytics or advertising SDKs.

What data the app handles

Purchases

In-app purchases and the Latent Unlimited subscription are processed by the app store you installed Latent from (Apple App Store or Google Play) and by RevenueCat, Inc., our purchase-infrastructure provider.

What we do NOT collect

Data retention and deletion

App data and photos live on your device. Deleting the app removes its local data. Photos you saved to your system photo library remain there until you delete them. Manage or cancel subscriptions through your app store: on Apple devices in Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions, on Android in the Google Play Store under Subscriptions.

Children

Latent is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

We may update this policy; the “last updated” date will change accordingly.
