Legal
Terms of Use
Last updated: 8 July 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Latent app. This is a
good-faith draft for review and hosting, not legal advice.
The app
Latent is a film-camera app that simulates shooting and developing film.
Photos and app data are stored on your device. See our
Privacy Policy for how data is handled.
Purchases and subscriptions
- Roll credits are consumable in-app purchases. They
are stored on your device and are non-refundable except as required by
law. Because they are consumable and stored locally, they are not
restorable across devices or reinstalls.
- Latent Unlimited is an auto-renewing subscription
offered monthly or yearly.
- Payment is charged to your app store account (Apple ID or Google
account) at confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription automatically renews for the
same price and period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the
end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the
end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription through your app store:
on Apple devices in
Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions, on Android in
the Google Play Store under Subscriptions.
- Prices are shown in the app and may vary by region. Purchases are
processed by the app store; entitlements are managed via RevenueCat.
Acceptable use
Use the app lawfully. Do not attempt to reverse engineer, tamper with, or
circumvent the app's purchase or entitlement mechanisms.
Disclaimer and liability
The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the fullest
extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable
for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app.
Changes
We may update these Terms; the “last updated” date will change
accordingly.
